TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AGREEMENT

By using this site, you agree to these terms and conditions of use ("terms"). The North Beacon Hill Council (NBHC) reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Use of this site following the posting of these terms or changes to these terms signifies acceptance.

RESTRICTIONS ON USE

This site is managed and maintained by NBHC and contains material which is derived in whole or in part from material supplied by NBHC and other sources. Some material on the site is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any copyright-protected material from this site, including code and software ("Material"), without the express permission of the copyright owner. You may download Material from this site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Content that is deemed in violation of any local, state, national, or international law, threatening, abusive, hateful, offensive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, indecent, constituting or encouraging conduct that may be a criminal offense, or give rise to civil liability shall not be posted on this site, and shall be promptly removed should that determination occur after initial posting. This service posts material and provides links to other sites containing material of both general and special interest to people living or working within the geographic boundary area of the North Beacon Hill Council. It may include material about issues, services and events of wider interest in which the North Beacon Hill community has an interest. Citywide, statewide or national events in which the local community has no special interest shall not be posted with this service.

It is a condition of use of this service that individuals and organizations that post information on this web site provide current, accurate information. Those individuals and organizations shall maintain the currency and accuracy of that material, and promptly notify the NBHC Web site steering committee ("Steering Committee") of changes to that material, or request removal of all or part of the posted material that is inaccurate or out of date.

If referencing this policy does not provide a clear guide to the addition or removal of content, then that decision shall be made by a single consensus vote of the Steering Committee, with no reconvening of the Steering Committee for a revote, and with the vote and discussions associated with the vote at issue taking up a maximum of 30 minutes of the Committee meeting time. Should the Steering Committee not come to a unanimous decision, the issue at hand shall be referred to the NBHC and shall be decided by a majority vote of the general membership at the earliest regularly scheduled meeting.

CHANGED TERMS

NBHC reserves the right at its discretion to change or modify these Terms and Conditions or to impose new conditions at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by any lawful means including, without limitation, posting of such changes on this page.

OTHER

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
